Blockchain of Things (BCoT) was recently welcomed to the Canadian Blockchain Supply Chain Association (CBSCA). A membership-only association with members all over the world.

In the last few years, most companies using Blockchain technology have opted to use either private blockchains or Distributed Ledgers (DLTs). This is because public blockchains have never been able to provide the necessary functionality required for real-world use in supply chain solutions until now!

Some of the essential missing features in public blockchains are encryption, ease of use, permissions, notification services, and more. This is where Catenis, a second-layer technology that specifically uses the Bitcoin blockchain, shines over other technologies for the supply chain industry. Catenis allows companies to take full advantage of the public Bitcoin blockchain using its global footprint. It offers immutability, security, and redundancy while providing transparency when needed. Additionally, it reduces ongoing costs because installing and maintaining a private blockchain or a DLT is not required.

In 2022, Blockchain of Things partnered up with the Canadian Blockchain Supply Chain Association (CBSCA) and officially became one of their association members. CBSCA’s mission is to advocate, educate, and collaborate with like-minded individuals leading the way and accelerating blockchain technology in the supply chain through standards and dialog, helping shape policies with governmental agencies for improved services.

Since joining the CBSCA, BCoT has met with many top brands in the supply chain industry and has demonstrated the powers of the Catenis technology to leading supply chain companies from all over the world. “As members of this association, we have the opportunity to host educational webinars that are free for the community.” Said Amanda Mirus, Blockchain of Things Inc.’s Marketing Manager. “Currently, we have our first webinar scheduled for Thursday, April 14th, 2022, at Noon EST. (US and Canada) which is open to the public.”
